オカリーナの歴史は古く、民族楽器としてこの種の楽器は世界各地に存在していますが、1860年イタリア人のドナッティが現在のものを考案、その形状からイタリア語でoca「アヒルの子」→Ocarinaと名付けられたようです。大地の土を水で練り、火で焼いて作るオカリーナは、大自然の生ずる風音そのものなのです。
The history of the ocarina is long, and this type of folk instrument exists in many parts of the world. In 1860, an Italian musical instrument maker, Giuseppe Donati (1836-1925), invented the current version, which was given the name "ocarina" from the Italian word oca, "duckling" because of its shape. The ocarina, which is made by kneading earth with water and baking it over a fire, is the very sound of the wind generated by nature.

製作者渡邊智弥氏は製作にあたり、可能な限り素朴に、自然の風合いを持たせ土の色彩をそのままに、あえて着色せず、また音色も土笛の持つ柔らかな音を大切に製作されたようです。
The maker of this ocarina, Tomoya Watanabe, made the flute as rustic as possible, keeping the natural texture and color of the clay as it is, without coloring it, and valuing the soft sound of the clay flute.

一つ一つ手作りで製作されているため、まったく同じ形のものはございませんので、その個性を楽しんで頂けるものとなっております。
Since each instrument is handmade, no two are exactly alike, so you can enjoy the individuality of each item.
